Terms & Conditions

1. Membership:
1.1. Your membership will begin on the day you join.
1.2. When paying by Direct Debit, an initial payment will be required to cover the period up to your first DD payment.
1.3. Your membership is personal to you. You cannot transfer it to another person.

2. Fees:
2.1. You must pay a monthly membership which will be determined by your chosen membership package.
2.2. We may change the amount of your monthly payments. If we do, we will write to you at the address you have given us 14 days before the changes take place.
2.3. Monthly fees are payable even if you do not use the centre.

3. Cancelling Your Membership:
3.1. Memberships cannot be cancelled prior to the agreed contract length that you have signed up for and the last payment has been made. A contract may be cancelled once the final payment has been made. Membership will continue automatically after the commitment period end date unless notice is in writing and addressed to the general manager at the C-4 Gym. The C-4 Gym reserves the right to require evidence of posting or delivery where it has no record of receipt or the date of any notice appears inconsistent with the date of receipt. In these cases, the notice will be deemed not given unless such evidence is produced. Any notice handed to the C-4 Gym must be receipted.
Notices from the C-4 Gym to you will be posted to you at your address in the membership records.

4. Centre Rules:
4.1. You must comply with the centre rules/etiquette which forms part of this agreement.
4.2. We may change the rules/etiquette at any time. We will post notice of any changes at the centre.

5. Changing the Agreement:
5.1. We can change the agreement at any time. We will give you 14 days’ notice of this change in writing at the address you have given us.

6. Facilities:
6.1. You are entitled to use the facilities available for your category of membership package.
6.2. You may have to pay additional charges to use certain other facilities/activities at the C-4 Gym. You can get a list of these from our reception points. We can change these prices at any time.
6.3. Before using any exercise equipment, you must read and sign the Health Commitment Statement/Pre-Activity Questionnaire and have a supervised induction session. We can refuse access to the centres facilities if we consider your health maybe adversely affected by the use of such facilities. In such circumstances you will be referred to our GP referral team.
6.4. C-4 Gym may open/close earlier during public holiday periods. Facilities may also close for occasional special events. Notices will be displayed in the centre in advance notifying customers of any changes. No refunds will be available for these periods.
6.5. We may change the centres opening times or withdraw any of the facilities at any time if we need them for events, tournaments, exhibitions or other special activities.
6.6. We may need to close a facility or part of it for repair/refurbishment on the grounds of health and safety or improving customer service. Fitness classes may also have to be cancelled due to unforeseen instructor unavailability. In the above circumstances we will use our best endeavours to:
6.6.1. Give as much notice as is reasonably practicable by displaying notices in the centre.
6.6.2. Arrange for alternative facilities during a period of closure.
6.7. Your membership does not give you priority over other users or guarantee the availability of facilities.
6.8. C-4 Gym management reserve the right to change the activity programme.
Prior notice will be given in the centre relating to activity cancellations or the introduction of new sessions.
6.9. Promotions do not apply to existing members.

7. Biometric Check in:
7.1. On joining the C-4 Gym we will request you to provide biometric information in the form of a digital signature of your finger print. This information is solely used for check in purposes and provides a cost effective, secure and non-transferable solution to preventing unauthorized access to the C-4 Gym.
7.2. Should changes in physical characteristics result in the biometric template becoming outdated the C-4 Gym will request you to re-enrol a biometric digital signature ofyour fingerprint.
7.3. the information is fully encrypted and cannot be seen as a picture and cannot be transferred to any other reading devices to determine the identity of an individual. Your biometric information is deleted should you or the C-4 Gym terminate your membership.
7.4. All members must have their photograph taken for identification purposes; this will be stored on C-4 Gym database. This information will solely be used C-4 Gym and will not be released to any third parties.

8. Junior Members and Children:
8.1. Our minimum age for younger members is 14 years of age. Under 14…sorry you’ll just need to wait.
8.2. If you are 14-17 (inclusive) your parent or guardian must sign this agreement on your behalf. By signing this agreement your parent or guardian agrees to be responsible for your behaviour and actions at all times and to pay us any amounts that are due on your behalf.
8.3. 14-15 younger (inclusive) – adult supervising ALL TIMES. When using free weights ONLY qualified person can assist : Gym instructor or personal trainer.
8.4. When you reach 18 your junior membership will end, and you will automatically and immediately become a full adult member and sign a copy of this agreement.

9. Restriction of Liability:
9.1. C-4 Gym will not accept liability for any loss, damage to or theft of money, valuables or other personal property of members and guests. Property stored in lockers provide by the C-4 Gym is stored at the owner's risk and no liability for loss or damage was due to a negligent act or omission by us.

10. Facilities Rlues:
10.1 I agree to abide by the rules of conduct, behaviour, dress code, equipment usage and use of services that are displayed within this Gym and that have been provided to me.
10.2.I understand members are not permitted to bring Children into the Gym, nor are they permitted to leave children unattended in area of the at any time, and that C-4 GYM accepts no responsibility for children either bought into the gym or left in the gym by a parent or guardian.
10.3.I fully understand am solely responsible for any damage which I may cause to, C-4 GYM, its facilities, Services, products, or equipment, if such damage is caused by my wilful act and/or negligence.
10.4.I fully understand and accept that if I provide access to the gym for a member, non-member or including a member who has lost or damaged their Personal Fob, that have my membership immediately cancelled.
10.5.I am fully aware that all C-4 GYM is equipped with the Video Surveillance technology which is constantly recording for the security of the gym and that the Video Surveillance can be remotely viewed at any time by the gym operator and/or security provider.
10.6.I acknowledge that I am aware of the inherent risks of injury or ill health resulting from use of the services and from participation in exercise generally, in consideration of participation in activities within a C-4 GYM, I agree to release and indemnify the C-4 GYM and any company associated with C-4 GYM. I agree to participate in all activities at my own risk and responsibility whether supervised or not by Staff. I agree to release and hold harmless the C-4 GYM and any associated parties from and against all actions, which may be bought by me or on behalf of me respect of any incident arising out of injury, loss, damage or death caused to me or my property in anyway what so ever.
10.7.I fully understand and accept that open lockers rack are provided for my use as an additional service and that C-4 GYM is not responsible for any loss or damage to my property when using the gym or the lockers, including; mobile phone, wallet, headphone, bag or other.
10.8.Building allotted Parking is subject to availability, members are required to follow building as well as traffic rules for Parking. C-4 GYM is not responsible for any damage or tow of your personal vehicle.
10.9.Non-Staffed hours ONLY members allowed at the gym premises – NO visitors/guest allowed at the premises.
10.10.Not behave in an aggressive, abusive, intimidating, anti-social or threatening manner or in a way that might cause distress to staff or Members.
10.11.Not use the gym whilst under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, tranquilizers or make use of any other medical substance which may affect your ability to exercise safely on our premises. C-4 GYM reserves the right to remove you from the premises if it reasonably believes you are unfit to use the facilities.
10.12.Can you ensure that you put your weights back in their original place when finished, failure to do so may result in your membership being terminated.
10.13.Where you can, especially when attending gym on not staffed hours training with friends is not just more fun, but you’ll have someone to watch your back. Of course, this may not be possible (especially if you train late at night or in the morning), so keeping other members close to hand in case you need some support is a simple alternative.
10.14.If you ever feel unwell, injure yourself or are concerned for your wellbeing, get help! If our team aren’t on hand, call for another member or use one of the Panic Alarm buttons.
10.15.I fully understand that entering C-4 GYM facilities is at my own risk and responsibility whether facilities is staffed or non-staffed opening hours.
